If you thought Edward Snowden had already given up the best information from his trove of government surveillance secrets, think again, the journalist who has worked most closely with him said Monday. Glenn Greenwald, whose reporting for The Guardian revealed much of the information Snowden leaked, said in an Israeli television interview that the former National Security Agency contractor has plenty of bombshells left, particularly in relation to Israel. “I don't want to preview any stories that aren't yet published, but it is definitely the case that there are a huge number of very significant stories that are left to report,” Greenwald said. Among Snowden's earlier revelation were the claim that the NSA and its British counterpart had targeted former Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert's email in 2009 and had spied on other senior Israeli defense officials' email, too.
