Baron Davis Believes ‘too Early' to Count Out Warriors This Season

Draymond Green says the Warriors "f---ing suck." It's been two games, but he's not wrong.

Baron Davis, however, believes everyone needs to pump the brakes.

"I wouldn't count them out ... it's too early," the former Warriors star told TMZ Sunday night at Petite Taqueria in West Hollywood.

The Warriors lost by 28 points against the rebuilding Thunder on Sunday in Oklahoma City. Golden State now has dropped its first two games of the 2019-20 regular season by 47 points, good for a 23.5-point margin of defeat.

Again, this is bad -- real bad -- but it also only has been two games. There's, well, at least 80 to go. Davis wants fans to wait another 18 games before fans start hitting the panic button.

"Always judge a team after the first 20 games," Davis said. "After 20 games, you'll know where everybody stand and where they going."

The Warriors went 13-7 through 20 games last season. It won't be easy to do the same this year with Kevin Durant gone and Klay Thompson rehabbing a torn ACL

Right now, it only can get better. At least that's what the Warriors hope.
