CJ McCollum Tweets at Devin Booker After Warriors' Jordan Poole Interview

Warriors rookie Jordan Poole did not play in the team's final Summer League game in Las Vegas on Friday night.

So at halftime, he joined NBATV's Allie LaForce for a short interview:

"Growing up and in college, you never really paid attention to the free agency," Poole explained. "Obviously, you saw who was going to what team.

"But now looking at the lineups and the matchups and being able to see who you're gonna guard night in and night -- the Western Conference is definitely gonna be extremely exciting."

Is there anybody in particular he's looking forward to guarding?

"Probably Devin Booker," the 20-year-old said. "Devin Booker, CJ McCollum are the two that I'm focusing on."

When the video came across McCollum's timeline, he tweeted the following at Booker:

Wizards guard Bradley Beal then joined in on the fun:

Booker averaged 26.6 points and 6.8 assists per game last season, while McCollum racked up 21.0 points and 3.0 assists per contest.

Poole -- the No. 28 overall pick in last month's NBA Draft -- is going to have his work cut out for him.

"Offensively, we think he's far ahead of where he is defensively," Golden State assistant general manager Larry Harris said about Poole a couple of weeks ago. "His athleticism and his quickness and his IQ allows him to be a better defender than what we saw in college."
