Warriors Post Tribute Video to DeMarcus Cousins After Inking Lakers Deal

DeMarcus Cousins' journey with the Warriors was short-lived. He joined the team last season, but missed quite a bit of action after suffering a ruptured Achilles in February of 2018.

He would eventually come back from that and fared well, but that didn't last long.

He then suffered a torn quad muscle in Game 2 of the NBA playoffs. Despite still playing, it was apparent he wasn't playing at his potential.

Now, he finds his way to the City of Angels to play for the Lakers after agreeing to a one-year contract. But his time with Golden State was not taken for granted as the team dedicated a tribute video to him on social media:

The clip showed the four-time All-Star helping the community and working with kids on top of what he brought to the court -- 16.3 points and 8.2 rebounds in 30 games.

The Lakers' addition of Boogie could create a strong team if he can stay healthy. Yeah, I know -- that's a repetitive statement with any player, but the history speaks for itself.
