Rajon Rondo and DeMarcus Cousins are going to be teammates again.
Rondo, a free agent, has reportedly agreed to a one-year contract with the Pelicans.
Financial terms of the deal were not immediately reported.
Rondo spent the 2015-16 season in Sacramento playing alongside fellow former Kentucky star Cousins. In 72 games for the Kings, Rondo averaged 11.9 points and a league-leading 11.7 assists.
The 31-year-old Rondo signed a two-year deal with the Bulls in the summer of 2016, but he was waived by Chicago on June 30.
News of a agreement was first reported by The Vertical on Saturday morning.
