The Raiders are reportedly on the verge of acquiring their new tight end.
Oakland will sign Packers free agent tight end Jared Cook, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.
Cook, 29, stands 6-foot-4 and weighs 235 pound. The eight-year NFL veteran was limited to 10 games -- five starts -- last year with Green Bay, catching 30 passes for 377 yards and a touchdown.
Raiders receiver Seth Roberts tweeted a brief message shortly after the news was reported: "Weapons."
