Sharks Winger Evander Kane to Be Featured in ESPN's Annual BODY Issue

The Body Issue of ESPN The Magazine is a spread where athletes bare all "to celebrate the incredible power of the athletic form."

It's more than just showing the body itself. It's also a way to share one's vulnerabilities and create a storytelling platform.

In this year's edition, Sharks winger Evander Kane will be featured:

Other Sharks that previously have been featured in the magazine include Joe Thornton and Brent Burns. And with the way their photoshoot went, Kane is going to have some big shoes to fill:

Past athletes that have starred in the feature stretch all the way from Joba Chamberlain to Megan Rapinoe.

Kane will be joining the 2019 list of athletes that includes MLB slugger Christian Yelich, PGA Tour champion Brooks Koepka, MMA's Amanda Nunes, Nine-time NBA All-Star Chris Paul and the Eagles offensive line.

The photo gallery will launch Sept. 4 on ESPN.com with the issue available on newsstands Sept. 6.
