Kevin Durant worked so hard to get back into the Golden State Warriors lineup.
But after playing 11:57 in Game 5 of the NBA Finals against the Raptors, Durant re-injured his lower right leg and will undergo an MRI on Tuesday.
The Warriors didn't specifically say that Durant hurt his calf again, but based on video replays, it appears Durant's calf popped.

Former NFL team doctor David Chao has a more grim outlook.
Pay attention to how #KevinDurant right calf contracts violently. Beleive it or not, the strength of the gasteocnemius muscle contracting so quickly/forcefully is what tears the Achilles tendon. pic.twitter.com/odCSgdNiGF— David J. Chao, MD (@ProFootballDoc) June 11, 2019
49ers cornerback Richard Sherman believes Durant suffered an Achilles injury as well.
He probably strained his Achilles. If he tore it he wouldn't be able to flex that ankle https://t.co/NXX1ACLfaC— Richard Sherman (@RSherman_25) June 11, 2019
Durant was seen leaving the Scotiabank Arena on crutches and with a boot on his right foot.

Despite the injury, Durant was effective during his time on the court, as he finished with 11 points on 3-of-5 shooting.
