Apple didn't have this in mind when it introduced the world to the FaceTime feature on its iPhone 4.

FaceTime lets people call another iPhone 4 user and have live video conversations using the front-facing cameras.

The new feature has opened the phone up to a new industry: the adult-entertainment industry. Adult-entertainment companies are developing video-sex chat services and starting to hire workers through Craigslist.

But the irony is the phone maker, Apple, has taken pains to keep pornographic iPhone apps out of the iTunes store. It has also gone to great lengths to prevent anything from nipples to Tiger Woods jokes from making their way into the app store. \

Because the phone can be used to directly dial another iPhone, companies should be able to skirt Apple's rigid approval process for the app store.
