350,000 Textbooks Downloaded From Apple in 3 Days: Report

Apple isn't saying anything but the Cupertino-based technology company appears to have itself a new market.

A report by Global Equities Research suggests that more than 350,000 textbooks were downloaded within three days of Apple debuting its new iBooks textbook store.

Last week Apple announced its new focus on digital textbooks and its intention to change the education game.

At an event in New York City Apple released details of a partnership with four major textbook publishers, who are responsible for 90 percent of the nation's textbooks, to make textbooks available on Apple platforms like the iPad.

Global Equities Research didn't not release its methodology for its numbers and Apple has not released any data.
