Facebook launched its own version of Instagram -- just weeks after spending $1 billion to own Instagram.
A day after Apple announced that it will integrate Facebook within its upcoming mobile operating system, Facebook changed the name of its Camera app to avoid any confusion with Apple's iOS built-in app, aptly named Camera.
Facebook's photo-taking app that allows users to add filters to their images and share them on the social network will now be called Camera•.
The name is the same, but now there is a dot for added clarity.
Plus Camera+ was already taken.
