Go Daddy Super Bowl Ad Scores One for Nerds Everywhere

This kiss will be remembered on Super Bowl Sunday

Those who expected another bra-busting Super Bowl commercial from website host GoDaddy.com won’t get their wish this year, but nerds everywhere have something else to cheer.

In a different type of racy advertisement, model Bar Refaeli, voted #1 on Maxim magazine's Hot 100 list of 2012, makes out with Hollywood extra Jesse Heiman, who doesn't exactly look like your typical leading man.

But why? Sultry racecar driver Danica Patrick, a fixture in the site’s Super Bowl ads for years, explains as the 30-second spot begins:

"There are two sides to GoDaddy. There's the sexy side represented by Bar Refaeli. And the smart side that creates a killer website for your small business, represented by Walter (Heiman). Together, they're perfect.”

Then, it happens; a kiss that will be seen and heard around the world Super Bowl Sunday. The commercial has two versions. One is a long, sensuous, lip-smacking tongue-thrashing endeavor. The other has noticeably less Gene Simmons action.

While the more racier version probably won’t make the small screen, Refaeli said that she’s not ashamed.

"When we do something like that filled with a lot of humor, and we are joking about ourselves, I'd rather we go all the way,” she said on the "Today" show Friday via satellite from Tel Aviv.

For anyone that dreamed of saving Princess Lea from Jabba the Hutt, running along the beach with Pamela Anderson or even cooking with Rachael Ray, this commercial is for you.

In a way, even Refaeli, who used to date Leonardo DiCaprio, got something out of the lip lock.

"I have a very strange dream that all my friends know about where I go to club, look around, choose the guy most unlikely to be kissed, and kiss him in front of everyone, and make give something to remember for the rest of the week," Refaeli said. "GoDaddy is making my dream come true."

Not ironically, Heiman, who has appeared as an extra on such shows as “How I Met Your Mother,” “Big Bang Theory” and “Glee” wanted to make sure he got the kiss “right.”

"We tried to get it as perfect as possible," said the noticeably blushing Heiman on the "Today" show on Friday. The shot reportedly took 65 takes.

Refaeli’s testimony of Heiman’s abilities was just as much a shocker.

"I told Jesse that he's a very good kisser," she said.
