BART Staying Open Late During Bridge Closure

While the Bay Bridge is closed for construction, BART announced it will run extended hours.

In a press conference, Assistant General Manager Paul Oversier said BART will be doing its best to help people get from the West Bay to the East Bay with 24 hours of service for the first three nights while the bridge is closed.

There will be 14 stations open during the hours that BART is normally closed.

The participating stations include:

SAN FRANCISCO:
• Powell
• Embarcadero
• Daly City
• 24th Street Mission

EAST BAY:
• Bay Fair
• Downtown Berkeley
• Coliseum/Oakland Airport
• Concord
• E. Dublin/Pleasanton
• El Cerrito Del Norte
• MacArthur (Timed Train Transfer Point)
• Oakland City Center/12th St. (Timed Train Transfer Point and AC Transit Transfer Point)
• Walnut Creek

PENINSULA:
• San Francisco International Airport
