Netflix inked a new deal with Discovery to reverse a week of bad news.

It's been a rough week for Netflix but the video-streaming company finally has some good news to share.

The Los Gatos-based company announced that it signed a two-year agreement with Discovery Communication to stream older episodes of shows on those channels.

The deal will bring shows from Discovery, TLC and Animal Planet to Netflix's online stable of streamable shows.

The news comes less than a month after Starz ended its agreement with Netflix to stream its shows and movies.

The content loss, coupled with the loss of subscribers, who left the company because of a recent price hike, has made for a rough couple of months for the once red hot company.
