    Several Displaced After Pleasant Hill Apartment Fire

    Ten people were displaced in a fire at an apartment building in Pleasant Hill on Friday night, a fire dispatcher said.

    The fire was reported at 9:21 p.m. at 31 Massolo Drive off of Contra Costa Boulevard.

    The blaze was extinguished with no injuries reported to humans, but two dogs lost their lives. In all, seven adults and three children were displaced, the dispatcher said.

    The American Red Cross was called in to assist the displaced residents, according to the dispatcher.

    No other information about the fire was immediately available today.
