The Giants are one step closer to winning the National League West division for the first time since 2003.  San Francisco rallied from a 2-0 deficit Tuesday night to beat the Diamondbacks 4-2.  The team got even more good news when the Cubs beat the Padres down south to give the Giants a two game lead with just five games remaining.

Juan Uribe once again came through with a clutch hit, tying the game at two with a solo home run in the fourth inning.  Nate Schierholtz then knocked in the eventual game winning run with a pinch hit single in the sixth inning to score Pablo Sandoval.

The bullpen took over from there, finishing the game off when Brian Wilson got the final five outs for his 46th save of the season.

The Giants will try to gain even more ground on Wednesday night when Tim Lincecum takes the mound.  Lincecum was moved ahead of Madison Bumgarner in the rotation to ensure he pitches on his normal amount of rest.
