Win No, Presidents' Trophy Yes

After today, the regular season will mean absolutely nothing in the National Hockey League.  But Saturday,  it still meant quite a lot to the Sharks, who were one win away from securing their first Presidents' Trophy in team history, for the best record in the NHL.

Unfortunately for San Jose, the Kings didn't care about any trophies, certainly not for the rival Sharks.

The Sharks jumped out to a 1-0 lead thanks to Devin Setoguchi's 31st goal of the season, but the Kings responded with three unanswered goals, eventually securing the 4-3 win.

Luckily for the Sharks, there was still a chance to back in to the trophy.

And the players may want to send a big thank you note to the Buffalo Sabres who knocked off the East-leading Bruins, 6-1 Saturday afternoon, ensuring the Sharks will end the season with the most points in the NHL.

Bring on the playoffs.
