Vista Collina Resort: Lobster Feed with Trinitas Cellars

The new Napa Valley destination is already scheduling an array of sup-tastic, sip-tastic events.

CHECKING OUT A NEW RESORT? One that's elegant, and beautiful, and rife with well-considered details? Oftentimes, making a reservation for an overnight stay is the sole way to go for lookie-loos. Sometimes, though, a debuting destination will immediately event-up, and include a number of get-to-know-us happenings on the property's roster, and very often those happenings are delightfully based around bites and beverages.

VISTA COLLINA RESORT... is coming up on its opening date very soon, as in this-summer soon, and The Meritage Collection hotel is eager to get the gourmet gatherings going. One appetizing, oh-so-summery example? The Napa spot has planned that most bib-tastic of warm-weather events on the first Saturday of August 2018: A lobster feed. But a lobster feed in wine country has a rather commendable way of also arriving with great vino in tow, and the Vista Collina's party will absolutely do so, too, in the form of tony Trinitas Cellars. The bibs shall be tied on and the libations uncorked on...

SATURDAY, AUG. 4: And the decadent menu? Each person will have a lobster, and "family-style prawns," and artichokes, and potatoes, onions, and corn, and Trinitas Cellars wine, which is billed as "(f)ree-flowing" for the day (so, yes, invite your favorite designated driver now, and pay for their lobster lunch). Shall there be music and dancing? It would hardly be the tip-top of summer, also known as early August, without some pleasant eveningtime revelry. A ticket? It's $160; find your info here. Checking out the Vista Collina on another day, if you can't make the lobster feed? There's an Opening Special, with "savings up to 25% off our best rate," so peruse dates, prices, and all of those pretty resort pictures now.
