At Carlmont High School in the Student Union a special event, Fortifying Bridges to bring together the community will take place. This event is open to the public. Many guest speakers will take part in this event including,
- Jewish Club: Rabbi Dennis J. Eisner, Senior Rabbi at Peninsula Temple Beth El. He has served on the Israel & Global Committee of the Jewish Community Federation of San Francisco, the Peninsula, Marin and Sonoma Counties, and has a strong background in education and spiritual guidance.
- Feminist Club: Dr. Vera Jacobson-Lundeberg, Ed. D. is currently the Career Technical Education (CTE) coordinator for the San Mateo County Office of Education. She was formerly the Business Technology Institute head at Carlmont, mainly teaching low-income and at-risk students as well as World Studies, Modern European History, and AS World Studies. She also holds a background in theatre and taught drama at Carlmont. She was the Feminist Club advisor for 3 years and she's an active feminist.

February 3rd, at Carlmont High School located in the Student Union.
Event details:
Begins at 3:30pm and has small five to ten minute seminars on the different speakers and clubs wrapping up around 6:30pm.
