"Game of Thrones" may be leading the 2016 Primetime Emmy Awards with 23 nominations, but it was presenter Anthony Anderson who stole the announcement show Thursday morning.
The "black-ish" star earned a best male actor in a comedy series nod for the show. But, before his co-host, "Gilmore Girls" star Lauren Graham, could finish pronouncing his name, Anderson belted an exuberant "wooh."
"Hi mama!" Anderson shouted, waving frantically at the camera. "I know you're watching!" [[386829421, C]]
His elation didn't end there.
Anderson delivered another dose of enthusiasm when his "black-ish" co-star Tracee Ellis Ross was nominated for best actress in a comedy series, and then again for the critically acclaimed show's best comedy series nomination.
The "black-ish" star received the show's sole 2015 nomination for best comedy actor. Anderson's TV son, actor Marcus Scribner, congratulated his "dad" and "mom," Ross, for their well-deserved nominations. [[386829791, C]]
