The city of Oakland offering a $10,000 reward for a brutal crime against an elderly woman.
An 80-year-old woman was beaten nearly to death last week as she was walking on Grande Vista Avenue in Oakland's Fruitvale neighborhood. She walked the same route every Thursday to look for for recyclables.
Witnesses say she was attacked by three men, who punched and kicked her until she was unconscious, then laughed before running-off.
Police say the woman may be left with permanent brain damage.
