Odd Future at Slim's

Judging from the buzz today swelling around Los Angeles-based hip hop collective Odd Future Wolf Gang Kill Them All, you might want to pull the trigger on those $16 Slim's tickets while you still can because this show is sure to sell out. While we assume the bulk of The Feast readers' Twitter and Facebook streams have been flooded with the video from their over-the-top performance on Jimmy Fallon Live last night, some context for the social media luddites out there: Backed by Fallon house band The Roots, OFWGKTA's defacto frontman Tyler the Creator and the masked MC Hodgy Beats lit up the NBC studios with a jaw-dropping rendition of their extremely NSFW collaborative effort "Sandwiches." A mock mental patient was messed with, and Mos Def even popped out on nowhere screaming his head off. Seriously, watch this one immediately.

Done? Good. Now cruise over the slimstickets.com and pick up tix to their first Bay Area appearance next Tuesday. The entire 10-person crew of hipster-approved MCs, skaters and art kids are scheduled to appear.
