Quirky Rides Around the Bay

Book guides riders around the bay

Are you sick of all the tourists in the Bay Area taking over all the cool spots to hang out?

Well there is still one thing us locals can do that most tourists probably won't think of.

Dust that dirt off of your bike, grease the wheels and take it for a ride around the bay.

Seriously you can say you are going green and have a good time while you are at it.

It only takes about half a day to bike around the bay, at your own pace, and hit up everything from the Golden Gate Bridge to the Wave Organ.

And to make things even easier for you Quirky San Francisco has put out a free 43 page book to help you navigate your way around the bay on a bike.

The book will guide riders from downtown San Francisco to the Ferry Building, along the bay, past Pier 39, Fisherman's Wharf, Ghirardelli Square, Aquatic Park, Chrissy Field, Fort Point, Fort Mason, the Presidio, across the Golden Gate Bridge, down into Sausalito.

The book also features 143 quirky things to do on your ride.
