An indie punk festival celebrating the LGBT community returns to San Jose this weekend for the fourth year in a row.
Think and Die Thinking Festival takes place at the Billy DeFrank LGBT Community Center in San Jose with a series of shows from January 3-5, including a barbecue lunch on January 4 and a brunch (both with live music) on January 5. The event is the extension of a year-round collective dedicated to protecting people who feel "systematically othered" within society at large.
Acts planned to perform include Impalers, Permanent Ruin, Olivia Neutron John, Acid Fast, Wild Moth, Bob and Yumico, Bestfriend Girlfriend, Heavy Flow, and Exquisites, to name a few.
Admission is $20 for a full festival pass or a sliding scale of $7-10 per day, with proceeds earmarked for the host venue.
