100-Year-Old Oak Tree Crashes Onto Cars in OC Historic Home District

An old oak tree crushed three cars in a historic home district in Orange County Friday, a city spokeswoman said.

The 100-year-old tree fell in the 400 block of Anaheim's Lemon Avenue, outside a historic home in the Anaheim Colony Historic District, spokeswoman Ruth Ruiz said.

The downed tree was reported at about 5 a.m., Ruiz said. She did not receive any reports of injuries.

According to city records, the home was rehabilitated in the winter of 2002-03.
