Authorities Dismantle East San Jose Drug Distribution Network

A two-year investigation has dismantled a drug distribution network in the South Bay, authorities believe.

In a raid on an East San Jose residence conducted by the Santa Clara County Sheriff's Office on Friday, officers seized 29 pounds of crystal methamphetamine, four pounds of cocaine, a pound of heroin, two loaded firearms and approximately $825,000.

The drugs are believed to have a street value of $1.5 million and the raid represents a $2.3 million loss for the drug trafficking organization, according to the Santa Clara County Sheriff's Office.

Jose Alonso Jimenez-Olmos, 22, has been identified as the primary suspect. He was not home at the time of the raid and is currently at-large.
