The Least Expensive Condo in SF is a $389K Bernal Heights Condo

San Francisco has a new listing and it’s the least expensive market-rate condo in the city with an asking price of $389,000, SFGate reported.

The charming two bedroom and one bathroom studio is located on the side of the main entrance of a four-unit 1935 building in Bernal Heights.

The condo, which has been listed on Trulia for the past 13 days, features original hardwood floors, crown molding, and original tub and sink. It has a door from the kitchen that leads to a back patio which is shared among other residents of the home.

According to Trulia, real estate prices in the Bernal Heights area average at $1,360,016, and the 1935 home is 71% lower than the average, making this charming two bedroom studio as affordable as it gets in San Francisco.

Other units in the area rent for about $2,000 a month, but according to Trulia, assuming a 20% down payment ($77,800) and 4% interest rate, it’s possible to own the charming condo for less than $1,900 a month.
