Dramatic video was taken of a police chase that ended with officers shooting out the back window of a truck in the East Bay.

The chase started when Vallejo police officers tried to pull over a truck they say was driving recklessly before 11:30 p.m. Wednesday.

The truck didn't stop and police gave chase, with the California Highway Patrol helping out.

The driver crashed into the median about 15 minutes later on Highway 4 near Interstate Highway 680 and the driver refused to get out, police said.

A Concord police armored assault vehicle was called in, and officers arrested the driver.
