Concord: Police Asks For Help in Capturing At-Large Parolee

Police are asking for help capturing an at-large parolee identified as a suspect in two incidents in the downtown Concord area, police said Saturday.

Police are looking for 52-year-old James Beldin, who is a suspect in a robbery and an assault with a deadly weapon, according to police.

Beldin is also a registered sex offender, police said.

Officers describe Beldin as a white man, 6 feet tall, 180 pounds with brown hair and hazel eyes. Beldin was recently seen driving a gold 1991 Honda Accord with California license plate No. 6CGG337, police said.

Anyone that sees Beldin is being asked to call 911 and give police Beldin's location. Police are telling the public to avoid trying to apprehend Beldin, as he might be dangerous.

Anyone with information about Beldin's location is being asked to get in touch with Cpl. Blakely at (925) 250-9561 or email him at christopher.blakely@cityofconcord.org.
