An ex-swim coach from Marin must register as a sex offender after admitting to sending lewd material to a 13-year-old girl, according to reports.
Jason Ward, 38, of San Rafael admitted to sending the images years ago, according to the Marin Independent Journal.
Ward sent photos of himself to the teen over a period of a month.
He stopped once the girl told him her mother was suspicious. The girl reported the conduct to police after overcoming resistance and "loyalty" to her ex-coach, the newspaper reported.
Ward used to coach water polo at Redwood High School in Larkspur.
