Internet Cat Video Festival Returns to San Francisco to Adopt Out Real Cats

Organizers of an online cat convergence hope that four days of feline-focused activities will spawn real life adoptions.

Yerba Buena Center for the Arts in San Franicsco welcomes the return of the real life Internet Cat Video Festival Thursday through Sunday.

Tickets to the main screenings have sold out, but there are several activities that are free and open to the public between 1-5 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, including a cocktail bar serving Whisker Sours and Cat Nip drinks, a pop-up "Felines on Film" exhibit from The Cat Museum of San Francisco, astrology readings for kitties and, most importantly, a cat adoption fair from Animal Care and Control of San Francisco.
