Photos of Suspected Phone Thief Who Threatened Teen With Knife Shows Up On Victim's iCloud Account

San Jose police are investigating an armed robbery of a teenage girl.

The victim told NBC Bay Area the thief last month stole her phone and now his pictures are showing up on her Apple iCloud.

The alleged robbery occurred on the corner of Mt. McKinely and Mt. Herman drives in East San Jose while 17-year-old Brenda Reyes girl was walking home from school.

"I have flashbacks about it," Reyes said. "It's horrible."

Reyes said she does not like to walk alone in her neighborhood anymore.

"I'm like really scared," she said. "No guy has ever tried to put his hands on me."

And that's exactly what she says happened last month.

Reyes was walking home from school around lunch time when she said a man approached her, blocked the sidewalk and grabbed her arms.

When Reyes resisted, the man hit her in the face.

"He pulls a knife to my stomach," Reyes said. "He's like, 'Hey give me your phone and I'll leave you alone.'"

Reyes gave him the phone and took off running.

"I got so scared," she said. "This guy could stab me and I could die. It was really scary."

Reyes said the phone was a birthday present from her mom and was filled with family pictures. But now she said her photo stream is a constant reminder of the attack.

"To see his face again -- it creeps me out," she said. "It scares me."

The suspect has been taking new pictures on her phone, which is still linked to her Apple iCloud. And as he snaps selfies, Reyes and her family are hoping police will be able to track him down.

"Hopefully this person doesn't hurt someone else," Reyes said. "It's really sad."
