Military to Allow Women in Special Forces



    Pentagon to announce plan that would make women eligible to start training for the miltary's elite forces. Monte Frances reports. (Published Monday, June 17, 2013)

    Women could begin training as Army Rangers and Navy Seals by 2016, according to details of a Pentagon plan released to NBC News.

    To qualify for the Army Rangers or Navy Seals, both women and men will reportedly have to pass the same physical tests and meet the same requirements.
