A Napa husband has been charged with killing his ex-wife, and detectives said he admitted it immediately.
Police were called to a home on Pinewood Drive Sunday morning after a friend said they were not able to contact the victim for days. When they arrived, the victim's ex-husband, Shozaburo Nakamura, let them inside.
Detectives said he admitted to killing her the day before in a domestic dispute. The victim had several stab wounds.
The Napa Valley Register reports Nakamura is the restaurateur of a popular downtown Napa restaurant named Eikos, which also had a booth at the BottleRock music festival this year.
