U.S. Marshals Look For Georgia Drug Kingpin on the Loose in California

U.S. marshals and other law enforcement agencies are looking for a runaway Georgia drug-dealer believed to be in California.

According to WSAV
, 38 year-old Antonio Acosta has been dealing drugs for years in Georgia.

Savannah-Chatham Counter Narcotics Team (CNT) told WSAV that Acosta gained access to the drugs in California and brought them to be sold in Savannah.

"He has ties to Richmond, Oakland and Vallejo," Deputy Nick Scripture of the U.S. Marshals told WSAV. "I've contacted the Berkeley Police Department, and they are extremely aware of him.”

Investigators shut down Acosta’s operations in 2013, taking down 38 members, WSAV said.

According to WSAV, U.S. Marshals believe Acosta moved back to California, possibly in or near Martinez. Investigators are hoping to track him down soon.

If you have additional information or have seen Antonio Acosta, contact Savannah-Chatham Crimestoppers at (912) 234-2020 or the U.S Marshal's service in Oakland or San Francisco.
