Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders is planning appearances in San Jose and Vallejo on Wednesday.
First, the Vermont senator will make a public appearance at the Santa Clara County Fairgrounds in San Jose. Doors open at 10 a.m., and the program begins at 1 p.m.
Later that day, Sanders will attend a rally at the Vallejo Waterfront Park. Doors open at 4 p.m., and the program begins at 7:30 p.m.
Sanders has fallen behind former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton in the race for the Democratic nomination and is hoping for a win in California's primary on June 7 to keep his campaign going.
