Traveling to London will soon be easier for folks in the East Bay.
Britist Airways announced Tuesday that the carrier will offer a flight from Oakland International Airport to London's Gatwick Airport beginning Mar. 28, 2017, marking the first time the airline will be operational at the three major Bay Area airports.
The international service, which will utilize a Boeing 777-200ER aircraft, will be available four days a week and carry 275 customers, the airline said.
For those passengers wishing to cash in on a deal, the airline announced that round-trip economy seats will sell for $599 if travelers embark between Mar. 28 and May 12.
A round-trip seat in the premium economy cabin will cost $1,115 during that special fare period, according to the airline. Business class travelers will have to fork over at least $3,597 for the back-and-forth journey.
