Police in Concord are investigating a shooting that killed a Brentwood man Saturday night.
Officers responded to a large family party in the parking lot of 1090 Mi Casa Court where witnesses said a shooting had occurred at about 8:20 p.m.
When officers arrived, they found Ismael Garcia Ramirez, 25, who had been fatally shot in his upper body. Witnesses told police that some people at the party had gotten into a fight and gunshots where fired, according to police.
Witnesses also told poice that people who were involved in the shooting had fled in a car.
Police found the car in the 1200 block of Monument Boulevard near Victory Lane and arrested and booked 29-year-old Vincent Ochoa, of Concord, on suspicion of first-degree homicide, police said.
