Construction Worker Falls One Story at San Francisco Museum of Modern Art

A construction worker was in an elevator shaft when some scaffolding fell on top of him Friday morning at the Museum of Modern Art, according to the San Francisco Fire Department.

The worker fell from one story from the 7th floor and was taken to the hospital with critical leg injuries, according to Cal-OSHA.

The worker is employed by NorCal Scaffolding.

The call was reported at 10:10 a.m.

Originally, firefighters said the worker fell six stories.
