Betty Reid Soskin will take part in a conversation Friday in Richmond during an event to honor Women's History Month, according to two organizations.

The event will begin at 6:30 p.m. at 23 Maine Ave., according to the hosting groups Bridge Storage and ArtSpace.

As of late last year, Soskin was the oldest career National Park Service Ranger and was named Glamour magazine's 2018 Woman of the Year.

Soskin is a park ranger at the Rosie the Riveter World War II Home Front National Historic Park in Richmond.

Soskin's autobiography "Sign My Name to Freedom" can be purchased at the event.

The event is free but pre-registration is suggested because space is limited. More information can be found here.
