
A preliminary 4.1 magnitude earthquake struck Friday morning on Lake Tahoe, according to the United States Geological Survey.
The quake shook at 8:25 a.m. and was centered in the middle of the lake about 14 miles north of South Lake Tahoe, the USGS said.
