'FebruBURIED': Squaw Valley Breaks Its Monthly Snowfall Record

February has been more like "FebruBURIED" for ski resorts across the Sierra Nevada.

More than enough snow has fallen across the mountain range for Squaw Valley to set its new monthly snowfall record.

The popular ski resort said Wednesday that it has received at least 300 inches of snow during the month, one day after noting that it broke its old monthly snowfall record — 282 inches — from January 2017.

What's even more impressive? More snow could fall by the time February runs out.

So far this season, Squaw Valley has received a whopping 557 inches — more than 46 feet — of snow and counting.
