IBM's Call for Code Hackathon starts at 8 a.m. at 42 Silicon Valley at 6600 Dumbarton Circle.
The grand prize is $200,000, mentorship from experts at IBM and potential company funding.
Last year, a finalist created a solution to help forecast and detect wildfires.
