Fremont Developers to Code to Solve Problems Around Natural Disasters

Bay Area software developers will take to their keyboards Saturday in Fremont to solve problems related to natural disasters.

IBM's Call for Code Hackathon starts at 8 a.m. at 42 Silicon Valley at 6600 Dumbarton Circle.

The grand prize is $200,000, mentorship from experts at IBM and potential company funding.

Last year, a finalist created a solution to help forecast and detect wildfires.
