Man Dies Hours After Shooting in San Jose; No Arrests: SJPD

A man died in a shooting in San Jose late Wednesday afternoon, and the shooter is still at-large, according to police.

Officers responded at 4:43 p.m. to the shooting reported in the 100 block of East Virginia Street and arrived to find the victim suffering from at least one gunshot wound. He was taken to a hospital and succumbed to his injuries there, police said.

The victim's name is not yet being released.

No arrest has been made in connection with the shooting and no shooter information or motive have been released.

It is San Jose's third homicide this year.
