Overturned Box Truck Cleared After Snarling Highway 101 Commute in San Jose

All lanes of northbound Highway 101 just south of Hellyer Avenue in San Jose were blocked for more than an hour Thursday morning after a collision that left a box truck on it's side, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The truck overturned just before 4 a.m. and wasn't cleared until about 6:30 a.m., according to the CHP.

Emergency personnel are on the scene, but no injuries were immediately reported.

Traffic was backed up to the Highway 85 exchange during the heart of rush hour.

No other information is immediately available.
