An Antioch woman suspected in several recent thefts at Bay Area sporting goods stores, including a $7,000 heist at a Milpitas store, was arrested this week.
Police said Kiaira Kellie Fluker, 31, is one of three people suspected of stealing $7,000 worth of merchandise the evening of Aug. 2 from the Big 5 store 757 East Calaveras Blvd. in Milpitas.
After the trio fled in a gray 4-door Nissan Altima, detectives obtained the store's security camera footage, which helped identify Fluker as one of the suspected thieves, police said.
Fluker is also a suspect in other sporting goods store thefts in Daly City, Napa, Redwood City, Sacramento, Sunnyvale, and Walnut Creek.
Detectives learned Fluker had a $50,000 Ramey arrest warrant, a warrant issued by a judge, for grand theft from the Sacramento Police Department.
On Wednesday afternoon, authorities arrested Fluker at her residence in Antioch, took her to Milpitas and booked her into the Santa Clara County Jail on suspicion of commercial burglary, grand theft, organized retail theft, and the warrant.
The two other suspects remain at large.
