Police are searching for a suspect after a man was fatally shot late Thursday in San Jose - the second homicide of the year.
At 9:39 p.m., officers responded to a report of a person shot at Pinto Drive and Lone Bluff Way, just off Capitol Expressway and near the Los Lagos Golf Course.
Police said the man was pronounced deceased at the scene.
"The suspect fled and has not been identified or apprehended," San Jose police said in a tweet.
The death came a week after Evgeniy Zhukov, 54, of San Jose was reported missing on New Year's, and then later found dead in Richmond. On Thursday evening, his son was arrested in connection with his death.
