Police Searching for Twin Brothers Wanted for Alleged BB Gun Attacks

The search is on for twin brothers accused of terrorizing the East Bay with a BB gun.

The crimes escalated during a two-day shooting spree in San Leandro in March, when several people became targets. No one was seriously hurt in the attacks.

The suspects most recently struck three weeks ago by shooting at a car, police said. The driver was on Washington Avenue when he managed to get the suspects' license plate number, which led to the 19 year olds who lived nearby.

Detectives found a BB gun in the teens' car and in their home. The twins were to turn themselves in by noon Wednesday, but never showed up.

Warrants have now been issued for their arrest.
