Although a tornado warning for parts of Stanislaus and Merced counties has expired, a funnel cloud was spotted Tuesday afternoon in Turlock, bringing heavy rain, lightning and even hail, KCRA reported.
The storm was moving to the east toward Coulterville, according to the report.
A trained spotter saw two funnel clouds over Stanislaus County around 1:30 p.m., but they never touched down, according to KCRA.
