The San Jose Police Department's bomb squad investigated a suspicious device found Saturday inside a downtown San Jose hotel.
Someone found the suspicious device at around 10:30 a.m. in the second floor men's bathroom inside the Hilton San Jose hotel, officers said.
Officers in the bomb unit used a water discharge device tool on it, and they said the device was not explosive. But the device was made to look like a fake explosive, officers said.
Twenty people were evacuated from the area, police said.
Just before 5 p.m., the scene was clearing, and the hotel is currently open for business.
